The Sacramento County Local Child Care & Development Planning Council, in collaboration with Child Action, Inc., is conducting a survey of CARES participants to identify areas of coursework that may benefit from cohort classes.

Many CARES participants have completed ECE courses needed for permits and/or AA degrees, but have yet to complete general education coursework in math, science, and English. We know that for many of you these courses can be a struggle. We experienced success last year with "Cohort Classes", comprised of a group of ECE majors taking a math class together. Your input from this survey is invaluable to the development of additional cohort classes.
