The Sacramento County Local Child Care & Development
Planning Council (LPC) was created under AB1542, with a
mission to plan for child care and development services
based on the needs of families in the local community. The
LPC also serves as a forum to address the child care needs
of all families in the community, as well as all child care
programs, and promotes and encourages public participation
in the planning process.
